Markets:

The Daly Waters Monthly Markets: Held on the last Sunday of every month, the market provides a display of local produce, craft, food, and live entertainment.
Barkly Twilight Markets: Held in the afternoon/early evening, the market offers local handmade crafts, souvenirs, and catering options. It also provides live music and performers.

Annual Events:

Three Rivers Festival: A three-day festival celebrating the three rivers of the Barkly Region, which includes cultural activities, live music, and food from the local community. It happens in May every year.
Newman's Horse Sale & Races: A two-day event with a horse sale on the first day and races on the second day. It happens in June every year and includes live music and entertainment.

Outdoor Activities:

Barkly Challenge: A four-day endurance event that includes running, cycling, and swimming. It attracts participants from all over Australia and happens in August every year.
Three Rivers Rugby League & Netball Carnival: A two-day event that attracts rugby league and netball teams from many regions of Australia. Spectators are also welcome, and the event happens in July.

Community Events:

Community BBQs: Many small communities in the Barkly Region use barbeques as a way of bringing the community together. These events usually happen on the weekends and provide a chance for locals and visitors to meet and chat.
Community Sports Events: Several sports clubs in the region organize sports competitions or matches, such as AFL, soccer, cricket, and tennis. Visitors are welcome to join or watch.
