Get ready for a huge afternoon of rodeo action in the heart of Central Australia as the Alice Springs Rodeo returns to Blatherskite Park on Saturday 12 September 2026.

This is set to be a cracking day for competitors, families, locals and visitors, with fast-paced rodeo action, plenty of atmosphere and $16,500 in prize money up for grabs.

🐎 Rodeo Action at Blatherskite Park

The Alice Springs Rodeo brings riders, horses and spectators together at the Blatherskite Park Rodeo Grounds for an afternoon of genuine Territory rodeo action.

Gates open from 1:00pm, with the main action beginning from 2:00pm. Whether you follow rodeo competition closely or simply want a great afternoon out in Alice Springs, this is one of those events where the crowd, the dust and the action all become part of the experience.

With food vans, licensed bars and a jumping castle also advertised for the day, there is plenty happening around the rodeo grounds between events.
